The 2EX200.50-1 from B & R Automation is an I/O module consuming 12 W and featuring an RS485 9-pin D-type interface. Part of the System 2010 Controllers, it supports direct master/slave topology for 31 slaves and mounts on BP202. It handles baud rates from 100 kbit/s at 1200 m to 2000 kbit/s at 100 m and uses a number dial for addressing.

Its 285×40×185 mm dimensions ensure compact integration into automation systems. It connects to the remote I/O bus without repeaters. Designed for scalable operation, it enables expansion.
