The 3AT450.6 I/O module by B & R Automation is designed for precise resistance measurement using four Pt100 sensor inputs. While channels lack inter-channel isolation, the module provides electrical isolation between the PLC and its channels and complies with CE, UKCA, and cULus (E115267) standards. Featuring a digital converter with 13,500 steps resolution, it offers accuracy of ~0.1% at 20°C, supporting four-wire connections. Conversion times range from 85 ms to 100 ms, with temperature detection from -50°C to +450°C.
