The 3ME960.90-1 module, produced by B & R Automation, is designed to augment 2005 series PLCs by providing 64 KB of SRAM and 256 KB of flash memory. The module's slim dimensions (4.0" x 1.0" x 6.0") allow for easy integration into systems via rack-mounted insertion, using the System 2005 backplane and eliminating the need for additional interface cards or power connections. It includes a plastic terminal cover to shield internal components from electrical interference and environmental contaminants, preserving data integrity. Weighing just 5.0 ounces, it is easy to handle and mount on DIN rails.
