The 4PP015.0420-01 Power Panel from B & R Automation is a robust device in the Power Panel 15 series. It operates on a 24 VDC power supply and offers 16 keys alongside 16 digital inputs and outputs. Equipped with an English/Katakana character set, it features a black and white LCD with a resolution of 4 x 20 characters. The panel houses a processor with an instruction cycle time of 0.8 microseconds and includes 300 KB of SRAM, 448 KB of system FlashPROM, and 1024 KB of user FlashPROM. A 950 mAh lithium battery supports its real-time clock with 1-second resolution. The panel supports a non-isolated RS232 interface with a 15-meter range at 19200 bits/s. Additional features include an IP65 front rating, voltage monitoring (triggering NMI below 15 VDC), a CAN interface, two event counters, and short-circuit-protected high-side digital outputs with an 8 A current capacity.
