The 4PP015.E420-01 power panel, produced by B & R Automation, features a non-color LCD with LED backlighting and a 4x20 character resolution supporting English/European characters. It operates on version 2.36 of the PP01x software and includes a 1-second resolution real-time clock with nonvolatile memory. The panel has 26 keys, with LEDs and insert strips, as well as LED status indicators for inputs and outputs. Connectivity includes an IF1 interface via RS232 with a 9-pin DSUB plug offering up to 115.2 kbps transfer rate and an IF2 CAN bus interface with electrical isolation, supporting up to 1000 meters in length. The unit has two 32-bit event counters at 50 kHz max input and an incremental encoder with a 20 kHz input frequency. Operating within 0-50°C and 10-90% humidity, it offers IP65 front protection, weighs 0.5 kg, and has a 6W power supply. Equipped with a 950 mAh lithium battery, a hardware watchdog, and voltage monitoring, it provides robust, reliable performance.
