The Kollmorgen 502-03518-03 is an 8-channel output module, delivering an analog signal of ±11 Volts. Each channel utilizes a 25-pin connector, converting a 16-bit digital word that provides 65536 steps throughout the full range. The module has a voltage accuracy of ±5% at 11 Volts and the maximum output current is ±10 milliamps at ±10 Volts. The output updates every 32 microseconds, resetting to 0 Volt ±20 millivolts following a power up or scan loss. Protection against short circuits is achieved through current limited outputs. Power requirements vary, with logic side demanding 43 milliamps at +5 Volts, 11 milliamps at +15 Volts and 6 milliamps at -15 Volts. Operating temperatures for the module range from 7 to 55 degrees Celsius. Storage temperatures range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The module measures 41 x 305 x 213 millimeters and can withstand a shock rating of 15 g for 11 milliseconds.
