The Kollmorgen 502-03782-02R3 is a compact yet high-performance four-channel input encoder module designed to evaluate and store counter values from multiple encoders based on index signals or 24 Volts DC signals. With its dimension standing at 41mm x 305mm x 213mm, it is equipped to simultaneously monitor and maintain data from four independent incremental encoders or equivalent devices. A diagnostic LED and four quick input indicator LEDs serve as user-friendly operational metrics. Ensuring electrical noise shielding, all signals must pass through shielded twisted wire pairs via a screw terminal connector. The module operates with a maximum input current of 22mA at 7 Volts DC and tolerates a peak voltage of 30 Volts DC. The maximum ambient operating temperature reaches up to 55 degrees Celsius. Its power dissipation stands at 1.5 Watts for 5 Volts power supply and 1.6 Watts for a fast input supply under the worst conditions.
