The 502-03786-02R2 is a four-channel input encoder module, designed and produced by Kollmorgen. Its primary function is to assess signals received from four separate encoders and store the counter value based on the reception of an index signal or a 24V DC fast signal. Equipped with a diagnostic LED and four fast input indicator LEDs, this module can connect with up to four distinct incremental encoders. With a maximum pulse of 500 kHz and maximum on/off time delay of 50ms, it can handle an input current up to 30mA at 16.5V DC and operates at a maximum temperature of 55 degrees Celsius. The 502-03786-02R2 displays excellent performance with encoders possessing differential drivers and its signal pulse width is 600 ns. It operates most effectively in non-condensing humidity levels between 5% to 95%.
