The Kollmorgen 502-03840-03R1 is a sophisticated servo encoder module featuring 4 analog output channels, 3 encoder input channels, and 3 DC input channels. The module transforms 16-bit digital words into an 11 Volts analog output via a 40-pin card edge connection with screw terminals located at the front. The module's performance is easily monitored with the on-board DIAG LED indicator. Built to withstand varying conditions, it operates optimally between 7°C-55°C and can handle shocks of 15g/11ms and vibrations of 10-57Hz. It maintains its functionality in humidity levels between 5%-95% and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 85°C. Its compact size measures 41x305x213mm. The analog output channels offer a 16-bit resolution, with an output current of ±10 milliamps, and the encoder input channels can handle a max input current of 22 milliamps at 7 Volts DC. The module can support maximum cabling of up to 200 feet.
