The Kollmorgen 502-03843-00 is an I/O module specifically designed to be compatible with PiC900 systems. It includes 16 inputs, each with a voltage range from 14 to 30 Volts DC, and a maximum current of 7.5 milliamps at 30 Volts DC. Its ON and OFF levels are set at 14 and 5 Volts DC respectively, with a maximum ON/OFF time delay of 1 millisecond. In addition, it provides 8 output-only sink modes with a voltage range of 5 to 32 Volts DC, and a total output current limit of 2 Amps. The module's operating temperature is from 7 to 55 degrees Celsius, and it measures 12 inches in height, 1.6 inches in width, and 8.4 inches in depth. In case of a scan loss, the outputs are reset to an OFF state and a built-in diagnostic LED is activated during self-testing.
