The 502-03846-03R1 is a CSM/CPU module created by Kollmorgen. It's specially designed to contribute to Kollmorgen PiC900 operations, including power supply to hardware modules, managing the application program, overseeing system diagnostics, as well as facilitating communication with external devices. This module boasts an 8-megahertz clock-speed processor, alongside 32 kilobytes user memory, 64 kilobytes RAM and 128 kilobytes application memory. The 502-03846-03R1 connects to an external AC power source, accepting voltage from 90 to 250 Volts AC. It's capable of rendering up to 40 watts of DC power to the system's hardware modules. A built-in lithium battery ensures data retention even during a power cut. An optional math coprocessor, as well as two optional flash memory boards, can further enhance its performance. With two front panel ports and a RUN/STOP key slot, this module delivers reliable communications and control.
