This unit operates at a peak speed of 50 MHz while utilizing an RS232 interface for communication with exterior devices. It features an ARCNET interface and I/O expansion communication for real-time connection, alongside peer-to-peer interaction capability. Installed in the second slot of the PiC900 rack, the CPU module is powered by AC 110 – 230 V main voltage, which it converts into DC link voltage for module operations. It serves as a battery checker for the CMS and is instrumental in conducting the module’s diagnostic test. It should be mounted within an ambient temperature range of +7 to +55 degree Celsius, underrating excluded. The presence of 8 status LEDs aids in troubleshooting by presenting the operational status.
