The Pacific Scientific 5445-230, part of the 5000 series, is a reliable and high-performing hybrid stepper motor drive. It's capable of running intelligent motion systems and inexpensive board-level drivers. With its Indexer Functionality & Drive Configuration, and PacSci Stepper Basic programming language, the 5445-230 provides maximum performance and dependability. This motor drive operates at 120 volts AC, converting step and direction inputs into motor winding currents to steer a 2-phase bipolar stepper motor. It offers a standard output of 5.0 amps/phase with a DC bus of 65 volts and is compatible with the SIGMA line of hybrid stepper motors. The drive employs pulse width modulation to regulate motor winding currents, and it accepts a current control output, step pulse, and direction. Its power supply features a step-down transformer and includes a power dump circuit to prevent overvoltage.
