The 5AC800.EXT3-K02 by B&R Automation is a robust keyboard expansion module in the 5AC series, designed to enhance the Automation Panel 800 with efficiency and safety features for industrial environments. This module includes 4 function keys, 12 illuminated ring keys, an E-stop switch, and a key switch, conveniently mounted on the panel's left side. It offers IP65 protection against dust and water, suitable for harsh settings. Safety is prioritized with an emergency switch-off function featuring 2 normally closed contacts and a key switch with 1 normally open contact. LED indicators provide clear status cues in Yellow, Red, and Green with varying luminous intensities. With a maximum power consumption of 8 W and an operational temperature range of 0 to 50°C, this compact, energy-efficient module measures 135 mm (W) x 330 mm (H) x 34.9 mm (D) and weighs 1100 g, making it suitable for space-conscious control panel setups.
