The 5AC800.FLG1-00 extension flange by B & R Automation is engineered for the Automation Panel 800, providing a robust mounting solution on standard support arm systems, like the Rittal CP-S. Constructed from ADC12 aluminum with a semi-matte silver finish, it combines durability with corrosion resistance. Measuring 140 mm in both width and height and 71 mm in depth, this 600 g flange requires a size 20 Torx screwdriver and maximum torque of 2 Nm for installation. The flange includes necessary screws, ensuring secure mounting and alignment of connectors, which are marked with red dots for easy identification. It accommodates cables running through support arm tubing, requiring at least 50 mm of straight tubing beyond the flange for optimal cable management. Its design accounts for the integration of extension connectors and covers. To prevent connectivity issues, cleaning contacts with industrial alcohol before installation is recommended.
