The 5C2000.02, developed by B & R Automation, is a robust industrial control module that excels in harsh environments. Part of the 5C2 series, it features an 80486SXLC2-50 processor, 4 MB DRAM, and 256 KB SRAM, enabling efficient multitasking and operational control. Its connectivity is enhanced by three serial interfaces, including one electrically isolated, ensuring secure data transfer, alongside an isolated CAN bus interface and a parallel interface for broad equipment compatibility. This module supports expansion through two Type II PC-card ports and secures operations with a Dallas Hardware Security Key.
