The B & R Automation 5PC600.SX02-00 is a high-quality industrial component constructed with a light grey coated galvanized steel plate for durability. It features a removable lithium-ion Renata 950 mAh battery with a four-year service life under correct usage. Certified under CE and UL standards, it includes a built-in power button and buzel. This PC insert card provides IP20 protection and comes with a vibrant orange plastic front cover. Though not designed for high-risk operations, the card is equipped with safety features like HDD LEDs and passive cooling via a heat sink, with optional active fan kit. It includes a single compact flash slot, two USB 2.0 slots with a current carrying capacity of 500 mA each, a reset button, and a combined PS/2 keyboard/mouse connection. The device operates within a 0 to 55 degree centigrade range, with a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and a nominal current of 3.8 A. Its controller includes a battery-backed BIOS bootloader with a power failure logic buffer time of 10 milliseconds.
