The B&R Automation 5PP320.1505-39 power panel integrates a Geode LX800 processor, operating at 500 MHz, employing 32-bit x86 architecture with MMX and 3DNow technologies, enhancing real-time data analysis, mathematical computation, multimedia processing, and 3D graphics rendering. Its memory configuration includes 256 MB DDR SDRAM for seamless multitasking and 2 MB flash memory for stable firmware storage. A passive cooling system with a heat sink ensures optimal operating temperatures and system durability by avoiding noisy fans, beneficial in dusty environments. Networking is supported by the Intel 82551ER Ethernet controller, providing up to 100 Mbit/s data transmission, compatible with 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards. The Geode LX800's integrated graphics controller shares 8 MB with main memory for graphical applications. An RS232 serial interface supports peripheral connectivity with a modem capability, though users should ensure electrical safety when connecting external devices.
