The 7DI135.7 from B & R Automation operates with a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and accommodates up to 4 inputs. Part of the System 2003 Controllers, it processes incremental encoder signals at 50 kHz and counts events at 100 kHz efficiently.
It incorporates reverse polarity protection, short-circuit safeguards and a maximum switching frequency of 20 kHz with resistive load. The module uses switching thresholds of LOW=<5 V and HIGH=>15 V, and it holds CE and UL certifications.
