The Copley Controls 800-983 from the DC Servo Amplifiers series is a high-performance DC servo amplifier designed for industrial automation, featuring a rated voltage range of 3x208V to 3x480V and a DC bus link voltage of 260–900 VDC. It offers a pulse-direction interface, two analog setpoint inputs, an IGBT-module with isolated current measurement output stage, and a selectable brake circuit (external or internal). Communication is via CANopen at a default modulation rate of 500 kBaud, while shielded, electrically isolated connections and a grounded neutral point ensure low-interference operation. Power is drawn directly from a grounded three-phase system through a B6 rectifier bridge, and the design meets Overvoltage Category III (EN 61800-5-1) requirements for robust, reliable performance.
