8BCM0004.1034C-0
The 8BCM0004.1034C-0 is a motor supply and feedback cable manufactured by B&R Automation for use with CM16 servo motor systems. It connects a CM16 servo motor to a matching drive and carries three-phase power, encoder signals, and protective ground within one shielded cable. This arrangement reduces the number of separate cable runs in automated equipment and supports reliable routing in pick-and-place units, conveyor axes, and other motion systems used in dusty or washdown-prone areas.
The cable is supplied in a length of 4 m, which suits short machine spans and compact layouts. An 8-pin female Series 915 connector is molded onto the drive end, providing a keyed connection with a sealed coupling interface. When connected, the assembly reaches IP66/67 protection, helping it resist heavy washdown spray and temporary immersion during normal industrial use. The cable has an outer diameter of 10.1 mm with a tolerance of ±0.3 mm, which helps it fit into tight routing spaces and cable carriers. Its outer jacket is made of PUR, a material that resists oils, cutting fluids, abrasion, and repeated flexing better than standard PVC jackets.
The cable can handle acceleration up to 50 m/s² and travel speeds up to 300 m/min, making it suitable for fast-moving linear axes and repetitive motion paths. A minimum moving bend radius of 78 mm supports installation in compact cable carriers, while the static bend radius of 32 mm allows tighter loops where the cable remains fixed. Electrical insulation is supported by a minimum insulation resistance of 500 MΩ·km, along with a 4 kV wire-to-wire test voltage and a conductor layout of 4×0.75 mm² plus two shielded signal pairs. The assembly also supports 500 mating cycles and has a mass of 0.36 kg, which helps keep moving cable loads low on dynamic servo axes.
