The B & R Automation 8EI017HWD10.0200-1 from the 8EI Servo Drives series is a high-performance 2-axis module designed for precise motor control in industrial automation. It accepts a three-phase input voltage of 3x 200-480 VAC at 50/60 Hz and delivers up to 17.5 kW of peak motor output with a continuous motor current of 17 A and a peak current of 42.5 A. Featuring short circuit protection and reverse polarity protection, it ensures robust reliability, while a M12 connector provides secure power and feedback connections. The drive incorporates hardwired STO safety technology with encoder, dual Mini I/O encoder interfaces, and POWERLINK V2 communication via two RJ45 ports. Cooling is managed through an internal DC bus capacitance of 1680 µF, and its compact IP20 enclosure (133×374×258.5 mm, 8 kg) allows flexible wall mounting.
