The 8EI017HWD10.0B00-1 from B & R Automation features a 2-axis module design and delivers 17 Aeff continuous current. Part of the 8EI Servo Drives, it provides 8.5 kW per axis and peaks at 42.5 Aeff. It runs on 3x200–480 VAC at 50/60 Hz with a default switching frequency of 5 kHz.

This drive supports POWERLINK via 2 RJ45 ports for up to 100 m segments and meets IE2 efficiency. It accepts encoder voltages of 5.2 V to 11.45 V at 300 mA max. Weighing 4 kg, it mounts on a wall and operates from -20 °C to +85 °C.
