8EI2X2MWT10.0700-1
B & R Automation manufactures the 8EI2X2MWT10.0700-1 as part of the ACOPOS P3 8EI servo drive series. This module conditions power and executes position, speed, and torque commands for multiple servomotors in compact automation systems. By combining power electronics, axis regulation, and safety functions in one housing, the drive supports coordinated motion without requiring a separate amplifier for each axis. The design is suited for industrial automation cells where several servo axes must operate from a compact cabinet footprint. It is intended for applications that need centralized control of several motors within the same machine section.
This unit is delivered as a 3-axis module, so one housing can control three independent servo motors. It accepts 3x 200-230 VAC from a three-phase mains supply, and it can also operate from a single-phase 110-230 VAC line. The continuous output is 2.2 Aeff, which indicates the current available for sustained motion tasks. An internal braking resistor dissipates regenerative energy during deceleration, removing the need for an external braking component on modest inertia loads. Functional safety is provided by Hardwired STO with encoder feedback, creating a hardware torque-off path for stop category 0. Each axis can follow its own motion command while sharing the same module enclosure.
The module is prepared for wall mounting, allowing direct attachment to the cabinet back panel. Signal and power leads terminate on a 2-row connector set, and the single-row alternative is omitted on this version. The electronics use the standard option configuration, and a protective front cover is preinstalled to shield live parts. Direct back-panel installation helps keep the assembly stable inside standard control cabinets. The connector arrangement keeps external wiring organized while preserving access to the main interfaces at the front of the unit.
