The 8Msa5s.R0-V401 from B & R Automation offers 1024 PPR resolution and a protection class IP65. Part of the 8MS Three Phase Synchronous Motors series, it supports 5–24 VDC supply and delivers 4.8 Nm rated torque. It operates at 4500 min⁻¹ and draws 5.05 A during normal operation.
It uses a pre-wired cable connection and includes a 2 m cable within an aluminum housing. The unit functions from –20 to +85 °C. It withstands shocks up to 200 m/s².
