Okuma's A006-2206-17-17 (MPR10) is an advanced working model from the globally reputed industrial automation components developer. It contributes to the MCS motion control system series, compatible with inverter modules (MIV), and is uniquely designed for operation with axis drive motors. Positioned centrally in the setup, it interacts with the MIV module via a converter link.
Featuring a 7-segment LED display and a DC bus status indicator, it efficiently registers faults and errors. It also includes a 24 V diagnostic switch for handling unforeseen issues. The MPR DC power supply module, under optimal conditions, can offer power support ranging from 24 VDC to 300 VDC to other associated units with a notable regenerative capacity of 13 hp (10 kW). Vertical installation is preferred due to heat loss considerations; hence adequate space must be ensured. Additional components include a resistor regenerative unit and a heat sink unit, attached in the rear.
