The Kollmorgen AKD-B00606-NAAN-0000 from the AKD series has upgraded motion control systems on the industrial floor by delivering exact speed regulation of synchronous servo motors. This drive optimally interfaces with a single-phase AC motor using a closed-loop control, enhancing performance and efficiency. With an IP 20 rating, the drive can resist small solid objects while requiring installation within a protective control cabinet. The AKD-B00606-NAAN-0000 supports Kollmorgen WorkBench setup software, which permits adjustments to drive parameters, even whilst running. The drive is compatible with diverse synchronous motors, eliminating the need for drive replacement when changing motors. It possesses a built-in fan for cooling and should be erected vertically in non-polluted areas below 1000 meters altitude to ensure peak operation. Above this height, power derates at 1.5 percent per additional 100 meters. Special care is needed for its electrostatic-sensitive components.
