The AKD-P00306-NAPN-0000 Ethernet servo drive, produced by Kollmorgen, is an industrial unit intended for use in diverse applications. Lacking an in-built ventilation fan, this drive operates optimally between the temperatures of 40°C and 55°C and requires finger-safe fuse holders under the IEC 60529 criteria. It features relay outputs with open and closed time intervals of 10ms, and its PE block supports a tightening torque up to 1.7 Nm. Conductive and unpainted mounting plates are recommended. Intriguingly, the device can link with an external regeneration resistor or couple with several other drives via a DC bus link. Notably, the device is constructed to automatically restart should power dips be detected. Housing capacitors, the unit may retain hazardous voltages momentarily after power disconnection; a caution to note when mounting it adjacent to the power supply within the control cabinet.
