Kollmorgen's AKD-P00306-NBPN-0000 is an Ethernet servo drive with a specific need for low-resistance grounding to ensure user safety. While operation, if the hot surface is touched, it might cause minor burns. It should be prevented from making contact with plastic films as it could damage the product. Despite its high operational temperatures, requiring added cooling measures to keep cabinet temperatures below 40°C, the product remains environmentally friendly. With copper conductors for wiring, the unit is connected to the PROFINET RT interface through an X11 RJ-45 connector, and receives its IP address from an external DHCP server. Functioning with a voltage rating of 3.5V to 30 V and current rating of 2mA to 15mA, the unit allows its digital inputs to be set as high or low, and utilizes its inputs to execute pre-programmed functions. The product supports connections to stepper motor controllers employing the WorkBench software, and displays a DC bus capacitance of 940 µF, along with a maximum inrush current rating of 10A.
