The AKD-P00607-NBCC-D000 is a servo drive developed by Kollmorgen that can perform as a position indexer. Ethernet-powered, this device features default EtherCAT connectivity and uses a pre-assigned node address when interfacing with CANopen. The drive includes many electrostatically sensitive elements that must be carefully handled and requires proper low-resistance grounding for safe operation. This product is also required to be installed and commissioned by following the provided documentation to avert potential damage due to incorrect wiring. It can be integrated as a component of an electrical plant or machine and is not designed for residential usage. The EtherCAT fieldbus type can be altered to CANopen using either the WorkBench software or the device’s incorporated buttons. The device contains built-in resistors, rated at 132 Ohms, and has a cap leakage current of more than 3.5 mA.
