The AKD-P00607-NBEC-0111, a product by Kollmorgen, is an Ethernet servo drive capable of modifying process variables of a base drive. Equipped with a motion bus, TCP/IP service channel, and support for encoder emulation, this product also includes an integral soft-start circuit and a B6 bridge rectifier in its power section. To limit operational interferences, the device is integrated with EMC filters. However, the drive is not suitable for residential use or areas with a single-phase power supply, and it requires unimpeded ventilation in its control cabinet. While the drive's flexibility and number of inputs/outputs are fixed, a 4% continuous current derating occurs when operating temperatures surpass 40 °C. Only operating as a slave drive in an EtherCAT network, the IP address can be set as static or DHCP when the 24V supply is off. It can display its rotary switch values and network identification is achieved through the IP address.
