The Kollmorgen AKD-P01207-NBCC-0000 is an Ethernet servo drive featuring a standard housing and compatibility with a broad range of the manufacturer's synchronous servomotors and linear motors. The device integrates a soft-start circuit and a B6 bridge rectifier, supports HIPERFACE, BISS and ENDAT 2.1 and 2.2 protocols, and has digital outputs that are short circuit-proof with 250 VDC galvanic isolation. Notably, it features a continuous current derating of 4% per Kelvin when the ambient temperature limit is surpassed, necessitating forced ventilation in the control cabinet. This drive also uses a 9-pin male SubD X9 connector for encoder emulation, supports CANopen bus connectivity, and is able to function as an EtherCAT network's slave. In the case the DRV.TYPE instruction does not execute, an 'Er' code will be displayed. Lastly, it mandates professional installation and allows adjustments through the setup software to fulfill specific machine requirements.
