The AKD-P01207-NBCC-I000 is an Ethernet-based servo drive, developed by Kollmorgen, capable of handling industrial applications. It simplifies the functions of a position indexer as it allows only trained personnel to carry out setup, maintenance or relocation. The device should only be run once the protection of personnel and property from unpredictable movements has been established and it must be set atop a conductive surface. It boasts plug-and-play compatibility with the manufacturer’s motors and supports a broad set of feedback devices. The device facilitates EtherCAT and CANopen bus options, is STO safety certified, though, cannot support both bus options concurrently. The servo drive features color-coded controller terminals, tolerates a maximum surrounding air temperature of 40 °C, and satisfies Category C2 requirements for noise immunity with a motor cable length of less than 10 meters. To handle components safely, a DC bus link voltage below 50 V is mandatory.
