The AKD-P01207-NBEC-0000 is a high-speed, Ethernet-supporting servo drive produced by Kollmorgen. The device closely monitors the current feedback and motor temperature using a foldback algorithm and features controlled stop capabilities upon setting the DRV.DISMODE parameter to 2 or 3. It also manages the affiliated motor's holding brake and allows comprehensive programming of digital inputs and outputs. Additionally, it supports +24V or GND switching for digital inputs, and enables the output stage through an ENABLE signal. On startup, four default empty buffers are loaded depending on the digital input's starting stage. The drive can directly control voltage output via one analog output, and receives a digital pulse position command through electronic gearing. The device can be operated via CW/CCW command using its X9 connectors. This resilient unit can't be cleaned using liquid and is fitted with an internal regen resistor but also supports an external one, offering numerous hardware and software enable options. It features an Emergency Off function to ensure safety by disconnecting the power supply, and offers multiple operation modes through EtherCAT connectivity, facilitated via the TwinCAT system manager in WorkBench.
