Crafted by Kollmorgen, the AKD-P02406-NBAN-0000 is a digital servo fitted with feedback capabilities that facilitate encoder emulation via its reactively versatile X9 connector. Ordinarily, this connector acts either as an input or output and the device can be manipulated through A/B, CW/CCW or pulse and direction command using the connector in an input mode. Notably, the AKD-P02406-NBAN-0000 uses a foldback mechanism for overheating prevention. This servo can control a 24V motor brake and features two independent position captures. It is mandated to configure a controlled stop for disable command execution and enables connection to a linear motor via its X2 connection. It's remarkable in its ability to gauge motion using parameters such as velocity, position, and acceleration. The device's digital input holds the capability of triggering stored functions, and the drive's parameters can be altered through the Command Buffer input mode. A mandatory wiring for its Hardware Enable input is a requirement, and when set to analog, the existing control loops are controlled by the current or velocity command.
