The AKM12C-ANMN2-00 is a brushless DC servomotor developed by Kollmorgen, specifically for industrial use. It features a rotor with permanent magnets made of neodymium-iron-boron, contributing to its dynamic drive capabilities. Key components include grease packed ball bearings, expected to last around 20,000 operational hours under normal circumstances, but require regular noise checks throughout their lifespan. This servomotor also comes with a 0.5m shielded cable equipped with IP20 connectors for power and feedback signals, a custom flange tailored to IEC standards, and has six poles. The commutation process is facilitated electronically by the attendant servo amplifier. Given that wiring and assembly should only be handled by trained personnel, when de-energized, it is crucial to ensure proper earthing of the servo amplifier, mounting plate and motor casing. The switch cabinet should ideally be kept switched off until setup of the device.
