The Kollmorgen AKM21C-ANM22-00 is a high-dynamic and stable synchronous servomotor, designed for use with drive equipment in appropriate ambient conditions. It features a comcoder with a 2048 PPR feedback unit and a 24V DC spring applied brake, specifically intended for standstill use rather than operational braking. The motor has a standstill torque of 0.48 Nm, a standstill current of 1.58 A and a maximum bus voltage rating of 640 VDC. With a flange size of 58 mm, rotor length of 1, peak current at 6.3 A, torque peaking at 1.47 Nm, and a standard weight of 0.82 kg, the motor incorporates a C type winding and a smooth shaft. For safety, the motor must be earthed to the PE busbar in the switch cabinet via a low-resistance earth connection, connectors should not be disconnected when live, and the bearings checked for noise every 2,500 operating hours.
