The Kollmorgen AKM21C-CKB2C-00 is a high-functioning servomotor equipped with a Smart feedback device for easy commissioning and optimal performance. Employing a plug-and-play motor recognition and full-frequency auto-tuning on an AKD servo drive, this device is user-friendly and efficient. It features a brushless design and an open keyway shaft, best for positioning tasks with a digital servo amplifier. The product includes a built-in 24V DC spring applied brake that blocks the rotor when de-energized, ideal for static hold but not for frequent operational braking. The unit has a rotor moment of inertia of 0.11 J and can handle a radial load of 145 N at the shaft end, running at 5000 RPM. A key feature is its holding torque of 1.42 Nm at 120 degrees Celsius. The AKM servomotor, with its robust black enamel finish, demands careful handling, ensuring the power connections are never unplugged when operating and the keyway should be removed when running independently to prevent any potential hazards.
