Kollmorgen's AKM21G-ENCN2-00 is an industrial synchronous motor known for its precision and performance. Built with over a century's worth of expertise, it's tailored to be cost-efficient and accurate. This brushless motor, paired with a suitable servo amplifier, forms a high-stability automation system, ideal for applications such as transfer lines, industrial robots and machine tools. The motor is built with a permanent magnet made from materials like neodymium-iron-boron, providing dynamic operation. It includes temperature sensors embedded within windings for monitoring and an integrated resolver for feedback. With a 4.87-ampere input, it can generate 0.50 newton meters of torque at standstill, with an operational rated torque of 0.46 newton meters and speed of 4000 RPM. The motor weighs approximately 0.82 kilograms.
