The AKM31C-ANCN2-00, produced by Kollmorgen, is a synchronous DC motor specifically compatible with the SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier. It features a brushless, potted construction and weighs 1.55 kg. The motor includes a smooth output shaft with no holding brake or customization options. Employing a C type winding and a comcoder with 2048 PPR for feedback, this motor maintains continuous torque without resolver feedback. Suitable for single or multi-axis systems, the motor requires proper handling by trained personnel and mandates a protective earth connection for safety. Capable of voltages up to 900 V, it should be integrated only into machinery that has undergone a risk assessment. Featuring Class F insulation, the unit has right-angled connectors and plug-and-play functionality. Its windings have a thermal contact for evaluation, and the housing, if soiled, may be cleaned with isopropanol. The feedback system may alter its length slightly.
