The Kollmorgen AKM31H-ANCN2-00, a synchronous servomotor, is enhanced by a SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier. The 1.55 kg motor possesses a 70mm IEC standard flange, a smooth shaft, and a H winding type. The rotor length is 1, and its feedback system employs a 2048 PPR Comcoder. During assembly, the environment must be free of aggressive and conductive materials. Proper handling is required to prevent damages and injury; the unit should not be touched unless its surface temperature post-operation is below 40°C. Mounted with the shaft end upwards, no liquids should enter the bearings. With included grease packing, the ball bearings withstand 20,000 operating hours before replacement is needed. For optimal performance, the motor should be audited for bearing noise every 2,500 hours.
