The AKM41E-GNCN2-00 is a robust industrial synchronous motor developed by Kollmorgen, designed to create kinetic energy for heavy-duty industrial use. This motor, designed to IP65 protection class standards, can withstand harsh environments and maintain its peak performance. Its low inertia design, combined with the energy from its permanent magnet, makes it ideal for high-power applications such as industrial robotics, machine tools, and transfer lines. When used in conjunction with the AKD drive controller, it forms an automation system optimally suited for significant power-demanding industrial applications. This motor ensures superior performance between 5 to 40 degrees Celsius and up to 1000 meters above sea level. It requires an input current of 2.05 amperes at a standstill, generating 2.02 Newton meters of torque. The maximum voltage is 480 volts. Additionally, this motor comes with a single connector for the hybrid cable which connects to the drive controller and features SFD encoder feedback with a resolution of 65,536 arcs per minute. Beam speeds reach up to 6000 rpm.
