Kollmorgen's AKM41H-EKMNEH00 is a high-functioning servomotor, manufactured without a holding brake and brushes, which results in unchanged length and electronic commutation respectively, by the affiliated servo amplifier. Fitted with ball bearings, any operational sound signals should prompt a device turn-off and bearing replacement. Cleaning of the motor's housing must avoid water and other liquid-based agents, instead favoring isopropanol or similar substances. The servomotor is equipped with a 0.5m shielded cable featuring IP20 connectors, adorned with a matte black enamel coating on its 84mm flange size. It operates with a 2.06 Nm standstill torque and 5.60 A standstill current, on a maximum mains voltage of 480 VAC, alongside a 22.4 A peak current, 6.36 Nm peak torque and 13-minute thermal time constant. Its 0.81 J rotor moment of inertia requires knowledgeable personnel to operate, avoiding disconnection when live and ensuring the surface temperature is below 40°C prior to handling.
