The AKM42E-ANC2DB-00 servomotor, manufactured by Kollmorgen, is a synchronous motor not intended for direct mains connection. It features an EQN1x25 multi-turn EnDat feedback system and a smooth output shaft, with an integrated spring-applied holding brake that blocks the rotor upon de-energization. The motor design is brushless and utilizes an E-type winding, with temperature sensors for monitoring winding temperatures via an isolated PTC. Its rugged housing is protected by powder coating and can be cleaned with isopropanol. It includes dual rotatable M23 Intercontec connectors and supports installation up to 2000 meters above sea level, with a 6% power derating above 1000 meters. The motor adheres to IM B5 mounting style, holds a mounting flange tolerance class N, and must be promptly shut down if bearing noise is detected. It complies with WEEE-2002/96/EG disposal guidelines and includes a manual and technical data on a CD-ROM in its package.
