The AKM42E-EKCN2-00, created by Kollmorgen, is a dynamic synchronous servomotor, powered by neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets. This brushless motor uses an electronic servo amplifier for commutation and sports a black enamel finish. It's designed to operate for 20,000 hours before the ball bearings require replacement. Key features include rotatable connectors for power and feedback signals, a standstill torque of 3.42 Nm, and a standstill current of 2.74 A. The rotor's moment of inertia stands at 1.5 J, while the Max BUS is 640 VDC. The motor has a flange size of 84 mm, a rotor length of 2, E type winding, and an open keyway shaft. It reaches a peak current and torque of 11.0 A and 11.5 Nm, respectively.
