The Kollmorgen AKM42G-ACC2R-00 is a synchronous servomotor featuring a G-type winding and a keyway shaft with a 24 VDC holding brake. Designed for industrial applications with high dynamic requirements, it requires a low-resistance earth connection for electrical safety and is not to be connected directly to the mains. During operation, connectors reach high voltages of 900 V. The servomotor offers peak torque of 11.5 Nm and integrates seamlessly with most Kollmorgen servo drives, thanks to Class F insulation and IP 54 protection. Its environmentally friendly construction and comcoder feedback slightly adjusts the standard length. Safe handling protocols must be followed, particularly to avoid shock during transportation. Immediate termination is advised upon detecting any bearing noise. Operating efficiency decreases by 1%/K above 40°C up to 50°C, and it is unsuitable for encapsulated mounting. Suitable for indefinite storage under recommended conditions, it should be installed following comprehensive hazard analysis.
