The Kollmorgen AKM42J-ACCN2-00 is a high-quality servo motor manufactured by American industry leader, Kollmorgen. Engineered to international standard, the compact device operates a continuous start-stop function at a high frequency. It features a brushless, synchonous design with a ruggedly constructed, rare earth neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnet for low-inertia operation. It also boasts in-built temperature sensors in the motor winding, signaled through an insulated thermistor. The device functions within an ambient temperature of 5 to 40 degrees, and is designed for installation up to 1000 meters above sea level. The motor's housing incorporates special, grease-lubricated ball bearings with a lifespand of 20,000 hours under normal operating conditions. The AKM42J-ACCN2-00 meets IP65 protection class, with a corrosion-resistant black outer coating, although it is not resistant to certain solvents. Overloading can reduce the durability and lifespan of the ball bearings.
