The Kollmorgen AKM44G-BKMN2-00 is a synchronous servomotor designed with a NEMA-standard flange, rated for a speed of 2000 rpm at 2000 VDC. It features Class F insulation material according to IEC 60085 standards. For proper operation, it requires adherence to detailed wiring and safety instructions in the servo amplifier's manual. Incorrect handling or exceeding permissible current and voltage can lead to overheating, property damage, or injury. The motor's housing becomes very hot during and right after operation, necessitating caution. It should be connected to a low-resistance earthing system and must never be sprayed with liquids or operated in contact with food and beverages. It should also not be used if damaged. Only individuals with sufficient electrical engineering expertise should undertake the assembly. This servomotor features a maximum runout of 16 µm at over 1800 rpm and is sensitive to axial forces when used with angular gearheads.
