Kollmorgen's AKM52K-ANSNDB02 synchronous servomotor promises top-tier performance and unmatched power density. Notable for its low cogging and minimal harmonic distortion, this motor ensures smooth operation. It's user-friendly, with straightforward commissioning, automatic full-frequency tuning, and plug-and-play motor recognition. Weighing 5.8 kg, the motor operates electronically through servo amplifiers, eliminating the need for brushes. The servomotor has a 108 mm flange size, a rotor length of 2, and uses K-type winding with special connectors. Feedback is enabled through an EQN1x25 feature. Thermal contact in the windings should be routinely monitored. Its notable credentials include a standstill torque of 8.60 Nm, standstill current of 9.3 A, and a maximum mains voltage of 480 VAC. After 20,000 hours of operation, the ball bearings should be replaced. Also, it is recommended to inspect for bearing noise every 2500 hours of operation.
