The Kollmorgen AKM53S-ACC2R-02 is a synchronous servomotor specifically designed for use with SERVOSTAR servo amplifiers. Featuring a brushless design, it is ideal for precise positioning tasks. It integrates an inbuilt resolver for feedback and includes a 24 VDC holding brake. With a robust housing finished in RAL 9005 enamel, it is suitable for operation between 5°C and 40°C. Its standard mounting style is IM B5, per DIN EN 60034-7 specifications, and it handles high radial forces via its cylindrical shaft end A. The motor incorporates temperature sensors within the stator windings and an electrically isolated PTC rated at 155°C. Proper setup is crucial, including grounding with a large surface area to prevent HF interference. Incorrect pole count settings in the servo amplifier can damage the unit, emphasizing the importance of adherence to electrical compliance for axial and radial forces. Mating connectors are sold separately.
